This coffee actually lives up to its reputation. After opening the sealed package the aroma was like no other coffee bean I have come across. I couldn't put my finger (or should I say nose) on it, but after grinding and brewing my first cup I was hit with floral and citrus "tones". The texture was velvety in the mouth. I tend to like my coffee grind on the finer side, but I kept my first experience with this bean to a medium grind, but a little more on the fine side. This is my first review of a coffee, so excuse my choice of words, but if I don't know the proper vocabulary to use to describe this bean, I do know this is an incredible bean. For me, it is worth the price for my "special stash"!
