Grown in the Mexican State of Chiapas in the southern edge of Mexico, close to the Guatemalan border. This coffee is bright, sweet, and has some resemblance to the Huehuetenango coffees of Guatemala. This lot comes from the area affected by the hurricane last year. We actually paid a lot more than Fair Trade to help the farmers that were directly affected with the hurricane. This coffee is a shade grown (SG), Fair Trade (FT) Organic, (O) coffee.

What our customers say...

I got a chance to tty about 9 different coffees from Geisha and I am very pleased with my choices and your delivery. I found this 'fair trade' mexican coffee excellent along with the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe brand you are presently carrying. Both these coffees give me the boast I need in the morning. They are pleasant and By the way the Honduras Stricta is also very good. I can't wait to try your Hawaiian Kona. If you have El Salvador or Costa Rican fair trade coffee in stock, please let me know as I heard about the fair trade problems the growers have encountered from a TV program on 'link TV'....Ron
